Community Outcomes

Low-income residents from the BuRSST community are involved in the design and implementation of poverty reduction strategies and policies.
Low-income residents of the BuRSST community increase their personal income and gain benefit from productive assets.
Language and culture skills become economic assets and lead to living wage jobs.
ESL and Basic Skill Classes are more accessible to the community and better integrated into next step training career advancement efforts.
More low-income children will be school ready and pursue postsecondary opportunities.
New resources and systems will be in the BuRSST community to support low-income families to increase their income and assets.

The design and implementation of workforce initiatives that offer and link low-income residents’ to employment, skill development, and wage progression opportunities.
Systems that support the involvement and leadership of low-income residents in the design of poverty reduction focused strategies and policies.
The development of communication and education strategies to promote the sustainability of effective resident leadership, early learning, post-secondary planning, microenterprise development and career advancement poverty reduction strategies.
Leverage resources to support innovative resident leadership, parent involvement, early learning, school success, post secondary access and wage progression strategies for low income residents.
